ARTICLE 1. PRESENTATION
Kumulus Active World 2012 S.L and the Municipal Institute of sports of the Town Hall of Palma (IME) organized the Palma de Mallorca Marathon to be held Sunday, October 15, 2017 at 9:00, and which may participate all persons over the age of 18 who wish to without distinction.
ARTICLE 2. HOMOLOGATION
Two-lap course measured 42.195 meters and will be duly approved. This race takes place under the rules of racing in road of the IAAF and the RFEA and is integrated in the AIMS calendar. The route will be marked and signposted every mile vertically. The Half Marathon distance will also be approved. The distance of 10km will not be approved and the organization does not guarantee to be accurate 10 km (approximately 10,40 km)
ARTICLE 3. COURSE
In its first phase the circuit runs through the Paseo Maritimo landside address Andratx to roundabout of Porto Pi, dam of the West until the pivot point located before the control of access to the dam, against the Naval Academy, in respect of traffic approaching the roundabout of Porto Pi , Sea front and side sea sense of traffic go to the Paseo Marítimo and 10km runners entering left line to finish line.
Participants of the 1/2 Marathon and Marathon will take the Camí de S´Escollera to control entry to the commercial docks and turn toward the breakwater to the Levante motorway towards airport to climb the Avda Gabriel Alomar i Villalonga left until arriving at the C/Escola Graduada to turn left onto C/Mateu Enric Lladó until Porta des Camp for through C/Bastió Princep i Passeig Murada to turn right onto C/Portella and C/Pont i Vic up to turn right on C/Sol and turn left at C/Sant Francesc to the plaza Santa Eulalia, where you will turn the C/Morell, C/Sant Pere Nolasc and turn right by C/Palau and back C/Mirador to go on Palau Reial to Plaça Cort and turn right on C/Cadena to enter plaza Santa Eulalia and turn left to walk the streets Vidriera-Corderia-Pes de Formatge-L'Hostal de L 'Estel turn left by Celler d' at Miró and turn left C/Sindicat until C/Bosseria turn right by Plaza Major-Sant Miquel to exit AV. Comte Sallent/Avda Alemanya/Avda Portugal to turn left onto Passeig Mallorca until Jaime III and turn right onto Passeig Mallorca up to turn right by C/Rubén Darío and C/Concepció up to turn right by C/Montcades turn left onto C/Can Serra to Jaime III and turn left onto C/Sant jaume square until Santa Magdalena for loop in Via Roma and continue on Ramblas in Palma and head for C / attached to the Born and continue for plate Reina and Antonio Maura where participants of 1/2 Marathon they will rotate to the left to go to meta and Marathon participants will rotate to the right to start the the second turn of the route.
In the second round will take place a loop added from Plaça Cort turning left to go Jaume II and return by C/Colon to turn left into C/Cadena to follow previous C/Vidriera.
ARTICLE 4. SCHEDULE
Start will be at 9:00 and cut off for the race is 6 hours. Finish line closing will be at 15h. Start for the 10km distance will be at 09:40 h.10km Walking start will be at 09:45h.
ARTICLE 5. WHEELED CONTRAPTIONS AND DEVICES
It is not permitted the use of any wheel devices in the course (including handbike).
ARTICLE 6. WITHDRAW, CHANGES AND ENTRIES TRANSFER
Until July 31st (included): 100% refund
Until September 30th (included): 50% refund
Until September 30th (included): To transfer the entry for next year.
Until October 8th (included): To change the original distance of the entry. No refund for the difference will be done.
In any of these cases you must send an email to: firstname.lastname@example.org and follow the instructions.
6.1. HOW TO REGISTER:
Through the official website www.palmademallorcamarathon.com, at the registration tab.
The registration is personal and non-transferable and means the total acceptance of the race regulations including the waiver of civil liability.
Once the entry has been made, it cannot be transferred to any other person, friend or family member under any circumstances.
ARTICLE 7. CATEGORIES AND RESULTS
JUVENIL CATEGORY (only 10km distance): Born between 2000 and 2001
JUNIOR CATEGORY: Born between 1998 and 1999
PROMESA CATEGORY: Born between 1995 and 1997
SENIOR CATEGORY: Born from 1994 until 35 years old (master category)
MASTER CATEGORY: From 35 years old.
Special rating: Master categories will be splited every 5 years. Eg: M/F35, (from 35 to 39 years old), M/F40, (from 40 to 44 years old) and so on.
7.2. RESULTS LIST
Marathon, Half Marathon and 10km* (Walking participants starting at las 09:45 will have a separate result list inside the 10km)
ARTICLE 8. AWARDS
Trophies will be for the 5th men and women of overall results and for each distance.
All classifications are the responsibility exclusively of the members of the Committee of judges of the RFEA.
Claims relating to results in the classification with provision of award will be presented, in writing together with €50, the referee judge within a maximum of 30 minutes since the publication of the results lists, which will decide. If the referee agrees with the claim the €50 will be returned.Other claims should be sent in writing to Marathon mail:
email@example.com, to the attention of the referee; before the Wednesday following the end of the race.
The Organization shall communicate the decisions of the referee in a maximum period of 10 days, from which the classifications will be considered definitive. Therefore, all the trophies and awards will be provisional until that time.
ARTICLE 9. BIB NUMBERS
BIB number pick up will be at the Race Number pick up area during Friday 13th and Saturday 14th from 11am until 7pm. 10km participants are able to pick it up as an extra day on Sunday 15th from 7:30am until 8:30am.
For collecting the race number, runners will have to present the receipt or copy of registration and ID card, passport or other official document proving your identity.
The race number shall be clearly visible at the front during the whole race and cannot be modified.
ARTICLE 10. DISQUALIFICATIONS

1st: km 3’7 after the bridge at Club de Mar: Water, isotonic drink and sponges.*
2nd km 8’5 at las Golondrinas in front of the Auditorium: Water, isotonic drink, fruit.
3rd km 12’3 at Escola Graduada: Water, isotonic drink, Coca -Cola, fruit.*
4th: km 16’5 en C/Sant Miquel by Porta Pintada/C/Olmos: Water,isotonic drink and special needs.
5th: km 20 In C/Union, in front of Gran Hotel La Caixa: Water, isotonic drink, Coca-Cola, fruit.
Km at the second loop: 24’5, 28’8, 32’8, 37’3 y 41’2
* At Km 24´5 and 32´8 will be on addition Powerbar gels.
ARTICLE 12. MEDICAL ASSISTANCE
The Palma de Mallorca Marathon will have the medical services necessary to attend the participants. The organization encourages all participants to do a medical examination prior to the race, accepting a participant resulting from the sport. Similarly, the athlete declares himself to be in tip-top physical condition for this test and makes it your responsibility. Any athlete with health problems is bound to previously notify it in writing to the Organization, marking its dorsal fin with a Red Cross and make indicating your name, address, telephone and health problem that suffers. He shall be required (for safety) to previously inform the conclusion of the test, in writing (indicating his race number). Medical services shall be entitled to remove the runner that manifests a bad physical condition.
ARTICLE 13. LIABILITY
The Organization declines any responsibility of the effects, consequences or responsibilities arising from damage, both material and personal, that could cause the participants, at the time of the test, themselves, other people and even in the event that third parties cause for damage to the participant, volunteer or staff of organization.
ARTICLE 14. WARDROBE SERVICE
Available from 7:30 unitl 15:30 during the race day.
The Organization will have a service of wardrobe where runners can deposit their belongings, not responsible for items delivered to him. The Organization of the service from wardrobe staff may ask runners to open their bags before depositing them, to monitor the content of the same. The refusal of a broker to open a bag, the organization may refuse to pick up the bag.
ARTICLE 15. AUTHORIZED VEHICLES
Only the only vehicles from the Organization can follow the race.
It is strictly forbidden to follow the runners in any type of vehicle engine or on wheels (skates, bicycles, etc...), bearing order expresses the Local police to remove them from the circuit.
ARTICLE 16. ACCEPTANCE OF THE PRESENT REGULATIONS
All the participants by doing the registration are accepting the present regulations and the RFEA, FAA, IAAF and AIMS regulations.
ARTICLE 17: DATA PROTECTION POLICY
In compliance with the provisions of article 5 of the organic law 15/1999, of 13 December, of protection of personal character data, we inform you that your personal data will be treated and will be included in files of responsibility of Kumulus Active World 2012 S.L, registered in the Spanish Agency of data protection. The collection and processing of personal data, included in the files, aims in the registration of participants, as well as informing them of all issues related to the Palma of Mallorca Marathon. Kumulus Active World 2012 S.L Marathon commit themselves to compliance with obligations on technical, organizational measures and safety contained in Royal Decree 1720 / 2007 , of 21 December, which approves the regulations implementing the organic law 15/1999, of 13 December, of protection of personal data. That the personal data provided, as well as the possible images that will capture during the celebration of the event, will be used for the purpose of the event, as well as for the dissemination of this and the final classification test which will show name, category and nationality. Also, given that the test belongs to the official calendar of national and international of the Royal Spanish Federation of athletics and in the contract signed between responsible for treatment is expected to the commercial exploitation of activity by this, is expected following assignments that are expressly authorized: the of the Spanish Federation of Athletics data for their own purposes; and the use of imagery in the development of the event so that they are used in any type of format or medium (paper, web, communications, video, etc.) in accordance with the purposes for the present explicitly consented.
