ARTICLE 1. PRESENTATION
Kumulus Active World 2012 S.L and the Municipal Institute of sports of the Town Hall of Palma (IME) organized the Palma de Mallorca Marathon to be held Sunday, October 15, 2017 at 9:00.All persons over the age of 18 who wish to participate can do so without distinction.
ARTICLE 2. HOMOLOGATION
Two-lap course measured 42.195 meters and will be duly approved. This race takes place under the rules of racing in road of the IAAF and the RFEA and is integrated in the AIMS calendar. The route will be marked and signposted every mile vertically. The Half Marathon distance will also be approved. The distance of 10km will not be approved and the organization does not guarantee to be accurate 10 km (approximately 10,40 km)
ARTICLE 3. COURSE
The first part of the course goes along the Paseo Marítimo (running landside) direction Andratx until the roundabout of Porto Pi, into Dique del Oeste until the turning point located before the control of access of the Naval Academy. Respecting the traffic direction, the circuit leads back to the roundabout of Porto Pi, and continues on the Paseo Marítimo, this time running seaside. Partipants of the 10km distance continue left and proceed to the finish line. Participants of the Half Marathon and Marathon take the Camí de S´Escollera until the entry control of the commercial docks, then turn toward the Escollera to the Levante motorway in direction to the airport, then turn left to the Avenida Gabriel Alomar i Villalonga left until arriving at the road C/Escola Graduada. Then participants turn left onto C/Mateu Enric Lladó until the Porta des Camp to C/Bastió Princep i Passeig Murada to turn right onto C/Portella and C/Pont i Vic, then they turn right on C/Sol,turn left at C/Sant Francesc to Plaza Santa Eulalia square, where the circuit turns into C/Morell, C/Sant Pere Nolasc and then right to C/Palau, back to C/Mirador, to continue with Palau Reial to Plaça Cort, then participants turn right into C/Cadena and enter Plaza Santa Eulalia square and turn left to the streets Vidriera-Corderia-Pes de Formatge-L'Hostal de L 'Estel. The circuit then turns left by Celler d'en Miró and turn left C/Sindicat until C/Bosseria turn right across Plaza Major square-Sant Miquel to exit Avenida Comte Sallent/Avenida Alemanya/Avenida Portugal to turn left onto Passeig Mallorca until Jaime III, then participants turn right onto Passeig Mallorca, turn right to C/Rubén Darío and C/Concepció, turn right C/Montcades, turn left onto C/Can Serra to Jaime III, and then turn left onto C/Sant Jjaume until Santa Magdalena square for loop in Via Roma and continue on the Ramblas and head for C /Unió attached to the Born, continue for Plaza de la Reina square and Antonio Maura, where participants of the Half Marathon turn to the left to proceed to the Finish Line, whilst Marathon participants will turn to the right to start their second round of the circuit. In the second round there is an additional loop added from Plaça Cort turning left to go Jaume II returning via C/Colon, to then turn left into C/Cadena to C/Vidriera where the course continues as the previous loop.
ARTICLE 4. SCHEDULE
Start will be at 9:00h and cut off for the race is 6 hours. Finish line closing will be at 15:00h. Start for the 10km distance will be at 09:40h.10km Walking start will be at 09:42h.
ARTICLE 5. WHEELED CONTRAPTIONS AND DEVICES
The use of any wheel devices in the course (including handbike) is not permitted.
ARTICLE 6. WITHDRAW, CHANGES AND ENTRIES TRANSFER
If the event is cancelled due to force majeure, the amount of registration will not be returned.

*The amount to be refunded corresponds to the registration fee. The service fees ("ACTIVE.com fees") will not be refunded because this are external charges.
6.1. HOW TO REGISTER:
Through the official website www.palmademallorcamarathon.com, at the registration tab.
The registration is personal and non-transferable and means the total acceptance of the race regulations including the waiver of civil liability.
Once the entry has been made, it cannot be transferred to any other person under any circumstances.
ARTICLE 7. CATEGORIES AND RESULTS
JUVENIL CATEGORY (only 10km distance): Born between 2000 and 2001
JUNIOR CATEGORY: Born between 1998 and 1999
PROMESA CATEGORY: Born between 1995 and 1997
SENIOR CATEGORY: Born from 1994 until 35 years old (master category)
MASTER CATEGORY: From 35 years old.
Special rating: Master categories will be splited every 5 years. Eg: M/F35, (from 35 to 39 years old), M/F40, (from 40 to 44 years old) and so on.
7.2. RESULTS LIST
The following results will be available:
Marathon, Half Marathon and 10km* (Walking participants starting at las 09:42h will have a separate result list inside the 10km)
The results include official time, real time and position within the age category of each participant.
ARTICLE 8. AWARDS
The best 5th men and women of the overall results for each distance will receive a trophy.
All classifications are the responsibility exclusively of the members of the Committee of judges of the RFEA.
Claims relating to results in the classification with provision of award will be presented, in writing together with €50, the referee judge within a maximum of 30 minutes since the publication of the results lists, which will decide. If the referee agrees with the claim the €50 will be returned.Other claims should be sent in writing to Marathon mail:
email@example.com, to the attention of the referee; before the Wednesday following the end of the race.
The Organization shall communicate the decisions of the referee in a maximum period of 10 days, from which the classifications will be considered definitive. Therefore, all the trophies and awards will be provisional until that time.
ARTICLE 9. BIB NUMBERS
BIB number pick up will be at the Race Number pick up area during Friday 13th and Saturday 14th from 11:00h until 7:00h. 10km participants are able to pick it up as an extra day on Sunday 15th from 7:30h until 8:30h.
For collecting the race number, participants will have to present the receipt or copy of registration and ID card, passport or other official document proving their identity.
The race number shall be clearly visible at the front during the entire race and cannot be modified.
ARTICLE 10. DISQUALIFICATIONS

1st: km 3’7 after the bridge at Club de Mar: Water, isotonic drink and sponges.*
2nd km 8’5 at las Golondrinas in front of the Auditorium: Water, isotonic drink, fruit.
3rd km 12’3 at Escola Graduada: Water, isotonic drink, Coca -Cola, fruit.*
4th: km 16’5 at C/Sant Miquel by Porta Pintada/C/Olmos: Water,isotonic drink and special needs.
5th: km 20 In C/Union, in front of Gran Hotel La Caixa: Water, isotonic drink, Coca-Cola, fruit.
Km at the second loop: 24’5, 28’8, 32’8, 37’3 y 41’2
* At Km 24´5 and 32´8 there will be also Powerbar gels available.
ARTICLE 12. MEDICAL ASSISTANCE
The Palma de Mallorca Marathon will have medical services to attend the participants. The organization encourages all participants to do a medical examination prior to the race. All participants accept the risks involved practicing this sport. Furthermore, the athlete declares himself in good physical condition for this race and agrees that this participation is his responsibility. Any participant with health problems is bound to previously notify this in writing to the Organization, marking its race number with a red cross and indicating name, address, telephone and health issue suffered. The participant is required (for safety reasons) to previously inform about his condition in writing together with his race number). Medical services areentitled to remove any participant from the race who appears tobe in a bad physical condition.
ARTICLE 13. LIABILITY
The Organization declines any responsibility of the effects, consequences or responsibilities arising from any damage, both material and personal, caused by a participant, at the race, themselves or other people. This includes third parties cause damage to a participant, volunteer or staff of the organization.
ARTICLE 14. WARDROBE SERVICE
Available from 7:30h unitl 15:30h during the race day.
The Organization will have a wardrobe service available where participants can deposit their belongings. The Organization is not responsible for items delivered at the wardrobe service. The Organization may ask particiapnts to open their bags before depositing them, to monitor the content of the same. The refusal of a participant to open a bag may lead to the refusal of the organization accepting the bag.
ARTICLE 15. AUTHORIZED VEHICLES
Only the vehicles that are accredited by the Organization can follow the race.
It is strictly forbidden to follow the runners in any type of vehicle engine or on wheels (skates, bicycles, etc...). The Local Police have the order to remove them immediately from the course.
ARTICLE 16. ACCEPTANCE OF THE PRESENT REGULATIONS
With their registration to the race all participants accept the present rules and regulations of the race as well as the RFEA, FAA, IAAF and AIMS regulations. In case of doubt, the criterion of the Organization shall prevail.
ARTICLE 17: DATA PROTECTION POLICY
In compliance with the provisions of article 5 of the organic law 15/1999, of December 13th, of protection of personal character data, we inform the partivipants that your personal data will be treated and will be included in files of responsibility of Kumulus Active World 2012 S.L, registered at the Spanish Agency of data protection. The collection and processing of personal data is carried out within the framework of the registration of the participants, and information related to the Palma of Mallorca Marathon.
Kumulus Active World 2012 S.L commit themselves to compliance with obligations on technical, organizational measures and safety contained in Real Decreto 1720 / 2007, of 21 December, which approves the regulations implementing the organic law 15/1999, of 13 December, of protection of personal data. That the personal data provided, as well as the images taken during the event, will be used for the purpose of the event, as well as the race final classification which will show name, category and nationality. As the race belongs to the official national and international calendar of the Royal Spanish Federation of athletics, is expected following assignments that are expressly authorized: the of the Spanish Federation of Athletics data for their own purposes; and the use of imagery in the development of the event so that they are used in any type of format or medium (paper, web, communications, video, etc.) in accordance with the purposes for the present explicitly consented. As registering to the race, every participant declares to consent that his personal data will be treated for the before mentioned purposes..
